Creative Capture Studio ("we", "us", "our") is a photography, videography and event-production studio based in London, United Kingdom, operated by Cristiano Lombardi (sole trader). We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data under UK GDPR.

1. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use our website, we may collect: contact and enquiry details when you fill in our Client Brief form, contact us or message us on WhatsApp (your name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us about your project — date, location, guest numbers, budget range, style preferences, and any brief file you upload); booking details if you book a session; purchase and payment details if you buy from our shop (items ordered, delivery address, order history — we do not store your full card details); your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter; and technical and usage data (cookies, device and browser type, IP address and how you use the site).

2. HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect data directly from you (forms, bookings, purchases, emails, messages) and automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the site, only where you have consented.

3. WHY WE USE YOUR DATA, AND OUR LAWFUL BASIS

Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote or brief — legitimate interests / steps to enter a contract. Delivering the services you book — performance of a contract. Processing and fulfilling shop orders — performance of a contract. Sending our newsletter and marketing — your consent (you can unsubscribe anytime). Improving our website — consent (via the cookie banner). Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contract and only as needed: Wix.com (our website host, which also powers our forms, bookings, online shop and payments); Usercentrics (manages cookie consent); our payment providers (process card and digital payments securely); email and productivity tools such as Google Workspace; and professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) are in place to protect your data.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Enquiries that don't become bookings: up to 12 months. Client and order records: for the duration of our work together and up to 6 years afterwards (tax and accounting requirements). Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

7. COOKIES

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. On your first visit you'll see a cookie banner (powered by Usercentrics) where you can accept, deny, or choose which categories to allow — essential, functional, analytical and marketing. Essential cookies keep the site working; the rest run only with your consent, which you can change at any time via the banner.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we'll only email you with your consent, and every email has an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our website and payments run on secure, encrypted (HTTPS) infrastructure provided by Wix.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to how we use it; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us — we'll respond within one month.
